The following are instructions for installing the open source Magento ecommerce platform on your Bluehost web hosting account using the very easy to use SimpleScripts tool with Bluehost.
Step 1. Login to your Bluehost account Cpanel
Step 2. Locate the SimpleScripts icon located under the Software/Services section on the homepage of your Cpanel
Step 3. Now locate the Magento icon under the Ecommerce section of SimpleScripts and click on it.
Step 4. Find the Install button for installling a brand new version of Magento and click on it.
Step 5. Now you need to choose the domain/location of where you want Magento to be installed. After selecting the proper domain name and/or folder name, select the check box next to the terms and conditions and hit the Complete button.
Step 6. You should now see a progress bar. This is SimpleScripts automatically installing Magento on your Bluehost server. Once this is completed, Bluehost will send you an email with the login information for your new Magento Install.
